Directions:  from Washington DC, beltway (I495) to exit 7A onto MD Rt 5 South.
Follow to where U.S. Rt 301 South joins Rt 5.  Just before Waldorf, stay on
U.S. Rt 301 South, travel through Waldorf, La Plata and towards the bridge to
Virginia.  Shortly before toll plaza for bridge, turn right at a blinking yellow
light by a Citgo gas station.  Road becomes parallel to Rt 301 South.  Follow
signs for Aqualand Marina and follow to water.

from Baltimore, I97 south to an end, then south on U.S. Rt 301.

Best Wind Directions:  S, SW, W and NW

Fees:  $8, pay at store

Amenities:  trash barrels, small store

Regs:  must leave before dusk, gate is locked at dusk
do not launch from fishing area, must launch from small beach
between the fishing area and the boat ramp between two signs

Hazards:  heavy motor boat traffic on summer weekends, current may be present
