upshot:  faces SE into Potomac, a bit shorter drive than most
southern MD launches, can explore St Clement's Island therefrom

FIG. 2 Directions to launch

Directions:  get onto MD Rt 5 south to Rt 242.  This turn off is after
the Rt 235 turn off and before Leonardtown.  Follow Rt 242 to and end,
turn left onto Pt Breeze Road at stop sign.  Pass the museum on your left
and proceed to the bend in the road.  At bend in the road is where the
gear drop-off is, and parking is behind the museum off Bayview Rd.

Best Wind Directions:  E, SE, S and SW

Fees:  None

Hazards:  some poles in water near shore, docks on the right

Notes:  A strip of beach at bend in Pt breeze Rd is public despite there being
few signs posted.  St Clement's Island is just off shore and is open to the public.
Consider sailing there, checking it out and perhaps use it to rest on.

Parking is in a parking lot on Bayview Rd.  Paved portion is for museum
patrons only-- you must park in the grassy portion to the back.
