Get off an the first exit after crossing the Severn River (Exit 27). Follow signs
for MD Rt 2 N. Travel 7.3 miles to Magothy Bridge Road and make a right

you cross MD RT 100, after another 0.3 miles, you cross Rt 177 and it becomes

From Baltimore and the North, take I97 south to MD RT 100. Take
MD RT 100 east to MD RT 607 Hogs neck road and follow the above.
Geographically, it is Cartop launch # 6 on this AA cty map

The launch is a sandy beach. You can rig on the paved and unused road
 (used only for authorized vehicles).

Launch faces East into a wide expanse of the Chesapeake at the mouth
of the Patapsco. To the NE is Sparrows Point Industrial complex.

Launch is best in winds absent a westerly component in it. Unlike
Downs park and Jonas Green Park, I have found this launch to be less
congested in terms of people present in the vicinity of the launch.
Also, the water appears to be unobstructed and expansive.

Park is closed on Wednesdays.
