Directions: Take U.S. 50 East towards bay bridge. Get off at exit 27
(this is the first exit after crossing the Severn River). Follow signs for
Md Rt 450 for the Naval Academy Bridge. Follow 1.5 miles to foot of
bridge but do not cross bridge. Make a left hand turn onto Md Rt 648
(Balt Annap Blvd) and then an immediate right into the park just before
the bridge. The park entrance takes you underneath the bridge to the
cramped parking lot and park.  Jonas Park is launch # 12 on this AA cty map

The launch itself is about 100 feet from the parking lot. The launch
is a sandy beach with a grassy rigging area. The launch faces WSW
across the 0.5 mile wide Severn River to the Naval academy.

The launch seems to be practical only for winds from West to NW.
Within this range of direction, the wind must cross a large distance of
open water. For all other directions, the wind will be coming off of a
nearby land.

This park has port-a-potties, picnic tables, and trash barrels.
The park has no fee and no formal entrance gate.
